Love this blog! 'She sees Angels..' always thought provoking! I'm afraid I can't be as tolerant with mobile 'phones and gallery spaces. My experience is ruined by mobile illumination in the periphery of my eyeline or someone else's arm attached to a screen obliterating the detail that I would like to see in a painting or a piece of fine art. Mobile 'phones and gallery spaces are not good bedfellows, they are OXYMORONS (the clue is in the term!) There are few places where you can lose yourself and your thoughts in an age of mass communication, googling, texting and photographing. Please let there be sanctuary in the presence of beautiful art where everyone can contemplate, admire and value the gift of artists and fellow viewers who appreciate the 'real thing' in front of them.

I'm not guilty of oxymoronic behaviour because I haven't got a phone.
